      By downloading or using KeyRing, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before using the app.
    

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the KeyRing iOS application ("App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. App Provided As-Is

KeyRing is provided "as-is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

3. Key Identification Accuracy

KeyRing may provide features to help you identify, categorise, or document keys. We make no warranty that the App will identify keys with 100% accuracy. Key identification is provided as a convenience aid only. You should always independently verify key identification through qualified locksmiths or other professional means before acting on any identification provided by the App.

4. User Responsibility for Security

You are solely responsible for the security of the key data, photos, and information you store within KeyRing. This includes:

Securing your device with a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID.
Protecting your Apple ID and iCloud account if iCloud Sync is enabled.
Deciding what key information is appropriate to store digitally.

KeyRing is not a substitute for physical security measures. Storing information about your keys in the App does not replace proper physical key management, locksmithing advice, or building/property security practices.

5. Pro Subscription

KeyRing offers a Pro subscription that unlocks additional features. Please note:

The Pro subscription is billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected).
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
All billing is handled by Apple through StoreKit. KeyRing does not process or store any payment information.
Refunds are subject to Apple's standard refund policy.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding within the App are the property of the KeyRing developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the App without prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of KeyRing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data, property damage, personal injury, or financial loss.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
